The V&A Museum
The V&A Photography Centre is now home to the vast RPS collection, with photographs and artefacts that stem from the very birth of photography. The whole collection is available to be viewed at the V&A, and we continue to maintain close links over a range of activities.
Science Museum
We have partnered with the world-leading and inspiring Science Museum, London to host the inaugural Science Photographer of the Year exhibition. This project aims to inspire everyone to consider the beauty, scale and complexity of our universe through the power of photography.
The Open University
We are proud to partner with The Open University to deliver two 10-week online course in digital photography. We offer reduced-rate membership to anyone enrolled in the course and an RPS Certificate in photography for those that complete.
MPB
MPB sponsor our Postgraduate Bursary. They have also donated equipment in support of our activities with charity, Action for Children.
MPB is building a highly successful business founded upon the circular economy, providing unrivalled access to a vast range of photo and filmmaking kit, assisting in re-use, and helping to reduce the environmental impacts of waste and supply chain.

Martin Parr Foundation
MPF is our closest neighbour in Bristol - we are literally next door! We work together on various events and your trip to either gallery is an opportunity to visit the other. MPF supports and preserves the legacy of photographers who made, and continue to make, important work focused on the British Isles.
Cafe Art
We are proud to support the fantastic social enterprise, Café Art.
Café Art’s mission is to connect people affected by homelessness with the wider community through their art.
Café Art provide single-use film cameras to people affected by homelessness. Participants photographs are selected for exhibitions and a calendar, sold to the public.
RPS members volunteer to hand out cameras and teach photographic techniques, and RPS staff assist with selecting images for publication.
Positive View Foundation
We are a very proud supporter of the incredible Positive View Foundation. Positive View is a unique charity that supports the most deprived 16-25 year olds living on our most challenging estates. They use photography and film to these young adults into further education, training, employment, or community voluntary work – and out of a vicious circle of family disintegration, gang violence, crime, and drugs.
Boom!
Bristol-based Boomsatsuma is one of the country’s most respected companies working with young people. Their mission is simply to fuel the next creative generation! Boomsatsuma regularly visit our exhibitions with groups of young people and we love having them here because they bring new insights and life to our work!
The Photographic Angle
We partner with The Photographic Angle to provide the annual TPA/RPS Environmental Awareness Bursary.
The Photographic Angle promotes education of the public in the art of photography through exhibitions and working with photographers at all levels.
Photo-pedagogy
Photopedagogy create fantastic teaching resources for anything to do with the art and science of photography. They have produced teaching guides for all of our exhibitions in our Bristol gallery.

Metro Imaging supports all our bursaries with their truly excellent print services.

International Garden Photographer of the Year
